Project
This Project describes the process of developing an android gaming application called Jumpotic for the Mobile Platforms course at the Örebro University. The game is an endless platformer with the main target being achieving the best score. The abstract purpose of this project is to get familiar with the android application development platform as well as the process of developing an application for mobile devices.
This Application is fulfilling all the necessary and applicable requirements given by the course as well as implementing the essential functionalities. The functionalities include handling portrait and landscape modes, compatibility with different device types (Phone, Tablet, TV) and device configurations (Portrait, Landscape, Resizable Screen Sizes), and to be scalable for future developments. The app must feel fast and responsive and be user friendly.
